Winnipeg therapist with over 20 years of experience helping couples, families, children and individuals change their lives for the better.
People come to therapy because they want things to change. Some people have a specific idea of changes they want to see in their lives. Some people have a better idea of what they don’t want in their lives, of what they prefer to leave behind them. But the desire for change is clear.
Making change in your life can be overwhelming, confusing and daunting. It can also be exciting, parts of it can even be fun, but parts of it will likely also be challenging and lead into the unknown. When you attend counselling* with me, my job is to be the guide who has travelled the territory of change, and has the maps, the knowledge and the skills to help navigate it. I help you find your own way through making changes in your life and keep you safe along the way.
I take the responsibility of being your therapist seriously. Whether it's children & teens, individual adults, athletes & other high performers, seniors, couples & families, or therapy for other therapists and helping professionals, the work we're doing matters to people A LOT. So doing my job very well matters A LOT. I’m well-trained, I’ve been doing this for over 20 years, and I love my work.
*I use the words "therapy","counselling" and "psychotherapy" to mean the same thing: getting help from a trained mental health professional with the intention of making preferred changes in your life.
