Winnipeg therapist with nearly 20 years of experience helping couples, families, children and individuals change their lives for the better.
People come to therapy because they want things to change. Some people have a specific idea of changes they want to see in their lives. Some people have a better idea of what they don’t want in their lives, of what they prefer to leave behind them. But the desire for change is clear.
Making change in your life can be overwhelming, confusing and daunting. It can also be exciting, parts of it can even be fun, but parts of it will likely also be challenging and lead into the unknown. When you attend counselling* with me, my job is to be the guide who has travelled the territory of change, and has the maps, the knowledge and the skills to help navigate it. I help you find your own way through making changes in your life and keep you safe along the way.
Whether with children & teens, couples & families, individuals, seniors, or therapy for therapists, I take the responsibility of being your therapist seriously. I’m well-trained, I’ve been doing this for almost 20 years and I love my work.
*I use the words "therapy" and "counselling" to mean basically the same thing: getting help from a trained mental health professional with the goal of making positive changes in your life.
What to Expect
Therapy can make some feel intimidated or nervous. I try to make it comfortable and safe from the moment you walk in the door.
